Approved Online Courses from Accredited Institutions

澳门六合彩高手 University supports the academic goals of students by being a member in the Acadeum consortium, a network of accredited colleges and universities that share online course offerings. These courses have been pre-approved by GWU for students to request registration, and support various needs, such as repeating a course, increasing GPA to remain enrolled or maintain athletic eligibility, catching up on missed credits, taking online courses not offered at GWU, or getting ahead to graduate earlier.

Please note: Students are not eligible to register for an Acadeum course if 澳门六合彩高手 is offering the same course during the same term, unless there is a scheduling conflict that will delay the student’s required course sequence, which must be determined in consultation with an academic advisor.

Courses taken through Acadeum are considered institutional credit and impact the student’s GPA and graduation requirements in the same way a 澳门六合彩高手 course does. The course will appear on the student’s transcript as a GWU course (though course codes may vary slightly to indicate consortia-approved classes). This practice makes it possible for:

  • home Institutions to apply financial aid to the courses;
  • offers students an opportunity to improve the cumulative GPA by substituting consortia course grade when the course is eligible for course repeat; and,
  • to count the course(s) towards part- or full-time status and residency requirements.

Registration

To register for a pre-approved online consortium course through Acadeum, students should first collaborate with their Academic Advisor/Success Coach to ensure the course is not offered through 澳门六合彩高手. Once it is determined that an Acadeum course is a good path forward, students can request the course by clicking on the link below, signing up for an account using their GWU email, verifying their email, and requesting to register for pre-approved courses.

Please note that all registrations are dependent on a student-by-student basis via course approval through the Registrar鈥檚 office. You will be notified when your request to register for an Acadeum course is approved or denied. If your enrollment request is accepted by GWU and the teaching institution, please note the following terms:

  • Enrollment in online courses is permitted up to six (6) semester credit hours per academic semester for TUG students. GWU Online and Graduate students have no restriction.
  • Upon completion of each Acadeum course, GWU will post the final grade on the student’s transcript. Acadeum course grades will be counted in GWU鈥檚 GPA and the credit hours will all be counted in the ‘attempted’ and ‘earned’ categories for Satisfactory Academic Progress calculations.
  • Students are responsible for adhering to course participation and policies of the teaching institution, which includes logging into their learning management system on the course start date, submitting assignments, securing textbooks and learning materials, and following through on all required actions as stated on the syllabus and by the teaching institution.
  • Textbooks for Acadeum courses are not included in GWU鈥檚 tuition and fees.
  • GWU will not intervene in grade disputes in cases where a GWU student is dissatisfied with the final grade issued by the teaching institution.
  • Course drop dates are determined by the teaching institution. GWU will not intervene in disputes regarding course drops, withdrawals, and/or refunds in cases where the student did not meet the teaching institution’s deadlines.
  • Students pay the applicable GWU term tuition rate for the Acadeum course; financial aid may be applied to cover Acadeum course costs. It is the student’s responsibility to work with the financial planning office.
